Skills you'll use

What you'll do

• Reviews patient medical records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal and external standards.
• Verifies that documentation aligns with clinical requirements, organizational policies, and regulatory guidelines.
• Ensures all required forms, consents, authorizations, and supporting documents are correctly completed and attached.
• Identifies gaps, inconsistencies, or missing information and flags them for corrective action.
• Reviews medical necessity, supporting documents, physician orders, and clinical notes required for medical record requests or
• billing processes.

Who can apply

• Medical terminology knowledge—strong understanding of clinical terms, diagnoses, procedures, and abbreviations
• Good communication & framing emails
• Knowledge of clinical documentation standards
• Understanding of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA compliance)
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
• Ability to interpret physician notes, lab reports, discharge summaries, and operative reports
• Quality assurance and audit skills
