INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE DIRECTLY • Account registration: name, email address, phone number, password • Student profiles: college, degree, branch, CGPA, graduation year, resume, skills, LinkedIn and GitHub URLs • Employer profiles: company name, designation, company size, industry, website, headquarters, company description • Job applications: cover letter, work experience, portfolio links • Communications: emails, support tickets, feedback you send us B. INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY • Usage data: pages visited, features used, time spent, clicks, search queries • Device information: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers • Log data: server logs, error reports, performance data • Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 7) C. INFORMATION FROM THIRD PARTIES • If you log in via Google or LinkedIn OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from those services • We may receive information from analytics providers and advertising partners

We use the information we collect to: • Create and maintain your account on the Platform • Match candidates with relevant internship and job opportunities • Display your profile to employers when you apply for a listing • Allow employers to review and contact applicants • Send transactional emails: account verification, application confirmations, hiring notifications • Send service updates and important notices • Improve and personalise the Platform experience • Conduct analytics and research to understand user behaviour • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents • Comply with our legal obligations • Communicate about promotional offers, new features, and relevant updates (you may opt out) We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for automated decision-making that significantly affects you without human review.

We share your information only as follows: A. WITH EMPLOYERS (when you apply) When you apply for a listing, your application data — including your name, email, phone, resume, academic details, skills, and cover letter — is shared with the employer who posted that listing. Employers are prohibited from using this data for any purpose other than evaluating your application. B. WITH SERVICE PROVIDERS We share data with trusted third-party vendors who help us operate the Platform, including: • Cloud hosting (servers and databases) • Email delivery services • Analytics providers • Payment processors (for premium plans) All service providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only for the purpose we specify. C. BUSINESS TRANSFERS If MyInternships.in is acquired, merged, or undergoes a change of control, your data may be transferred to the acquiring entity, subject to the same privacy protections. D. LEGAL REQUIREMENTS We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of MyInternships.in, our users, or others.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Specifically: • Active accounts: data retained for the lifetime of the account • Deleted accounts: personal data deleted within 30 days of account deletion, except where required by law • Application data: retained for 12 months after the application was submitted • Server logs: retained for 90 days You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing betterworkindia@gmail.com.
