MRI Software is hiring a Software Development Intern for its Bengaluru technology hub, offering an excellent opportunity to build cloud-based real estate and property technology software used by property owners, operators, investors, and occupiers worldwide. Working from one of MRI's major India engineering centres, you will contribute across the software development lifecycle, helping design, develop, test, and maintain features within MRI's PropTech platform that spans property management, accounting, investment and portfolio management, lease administration, and reporting. As a Software Development Intern in Bengaluru, you will collaborate closely with senior engineers, product managers, and QA in an Agile environment, writing clean and maintainable code, fixing bugs, and participating in code reviews, stand-ups, and sprint planning. This role is ideal for students and recent graduates who want hands-on exposure to enterprise SaaS engineering, modern web and backend technologies, relational databases, and cloud platforms. What you'll do

• Assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software features across the SDLC
• Write clean, maintainable code and fix bugs under the guidance of senior engineers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, and Documentation in an Agile environment
• Participate in code reviews, daily stand-ups, and sprint planning
• Write and run unit tests to validate functionality
• Help document features and technical work

Who can apply

• Pursuing or recently completed BE/B.Tech/MCA or a related technical degree
• Foundational knowledge of at least one programming language such as C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• Understanding of OOP concepts, data structures, and basic SQL
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and a willingness to learn Agile practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and the ability to work in a team
