What you'll do

• [Please note that this role is a 12-months contract based role]
• Khan Academy India team is looking for a candidate with experience in handling Monitoring and evaluation projects on a contract basis. The candidate will be responsible for executing and guiding M&E projects – both in-house and via third parties. This will primarily include developing logical frameworks, leading indicators, monitoring strategy / plan and coordinating the required field activities with internal and external stakeholders. It is a 12 month contract based role. The candidate will directly work with the Efficacy team at KAI and report to the head of the department
• Develop and strengthen monitoring, inspection and evaluation procedures
• Monitor and evaluate project activities and progress towards achieving the desired output/results
• Conduct capacity assessment on existing monitoring and evaluation system
• Develop indicators, logical frameworks and a monitoring strategy for the project
• Develop monitoring and impact indicator for the project success
• Provide inputs, information and statistics for periodic reports to Project Management Team
• Suggest strategies to the Project Management for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the project by identifying bottlenecks
• Coordinate with external researchers and agencies for M&E projects as required

Who can apply

• You are someone with:
• Relevant experience in Monitoring & Evaluation field is preferred
• Experience with social sector is a must
• Ability to use first principle thinking and analytical intuition
• A passion for education and a desire to make an impact
• Experience of successfully executing and driving qualitative and quantitative research with a focus on theory of change, logical frameworks preferred
• Should have either work experience or educational background related to the Social Sector. Background in Education/EdTech sector is preferred
• Comfort and experience in cleaning complex data and driving in-depth analyses
• Basic understanding in R/Python and SQL
• Ability to present research findings using concise tables / charts and related visualization skills
