What you'll do

• Khan Academy India’s Schools Team is looking for motivated individuals to join our Telangana Team as District Coordinators to support implementation of the Khan Academy programme in government schools across different districts in Telangana. In this role, you will work closely with school management, and teachers to ensure effective adoption and usage of the Khan Academy platform. You will report to the Senior Program Lead and play a key role in on-ground execution and support.
• Please note that this role will be serving one district mentioned as base location, and additionally will serve 1-2 nearby districts as well. More details can be shared in the introduction call.
• This is a 12-months contract role.

Who can apply

• You would be a great fit for the role if you are:
• Someone with 2–4 years of relevant work experience. Having been an educator or having worked with government schools in Telangana is an added advantage.
• Fluent in Telugu and English (reading, speaking, and writing)
• Someone with a strong collaborative mindset with an ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders including district officials, school leaders, and teachers
• Able to navigate through on-ground implementation challenges and make informed decisions aligned with programme goals
• Someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a variety of tasks across multiple schools simultaneously
• Someone with an excellent ability to document information from multiple sources and present it in a consumable format for others
• Comfortable working with data – you are able to track usage, identify trends, and draw insights to improve implementation. You are also comfortable using qualitative feedback to inform actions
• A great communicator – you can engage effectively with different audiences including teachers and government stakeholders, and communicate clearly across formats
• A quick learner – you immerse yourself in new environments and quickly get up to speed
