What you'll do

Run concept studies and evaluate new technologies against targets
Build and test prototypes to prove or disprove a concept
Benchmark competitor products and publish the findings
Support patent and technical documentation work
Present study conclusions to the engineering leadership
Maintain accurate technical records and traceability for your work
Follow plant safety, quality and environmental standards at all times
Escalate issues early and close them with verified corrective action

Who can apply

B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile or Production Engineering from a recognised university
0–2 years of experience in an engineering, plant or quality function — freshers and 2026 graduates are welcome
Working knowledge of Research Methodology, CAD Modelling, Simulation Basics
Comfort with CAD, simulation tools and lab equipment, and with reading and working to a drawing or specification
Ability to read an engineering drawing, follow a standard, and explain a technical result clearly to production or the customer
Attention to detail, ownership and the discipline to document your work
Based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu or willing to relocate (remote candidates across India may also apply)
