What you'll do

• We are looking for a highly skilled Database Administrator to manage and optimize hybrid database environments across on‑premises SQL Server, Azure SQL PaaS, and Azure Databricks . This role requires expertise in administration, performance tuning, automation, and collaboration with engineering teams to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable data solutions.
• The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of strong experience in SQL Server administration, cloud database management, and modern data integration tools, with a passion for driving automation and supporting enterprise‑level data initiatives.

• Key Responsibilities
• Administer SQL Server: Install, configure, patch, secure, and maintain on‑premises SQL Server environments, including backup/restore and disaster recovery.
• Manage Azure SQL PaaS: Provision, scale, configure geo‑replication, failover groups, and optimize cloud database costs.
• Support Databricks: Configure clusters, manage Unity Catalog access, schedule jobs, and integrate with data sources.
• Develop ADF Pipelines: Build, troubleshoot, and optimize Azure Data Factory pipelines and manage integration runtimes.
• Maintain SSIS Packages: Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot SSIS packages, including those in Azure Integration Runtime.
• Optimize Performance: Perform query tuning, indexing strategies, execution plan analysis, and resource governance.
• Implement Security: Enforce encryption, auditing, and compliance standards across hybrid environments.
• Ensure High Availability: Configure Always On Availability Groups, log shipping, and geo‑replication solutions.
• Monitor & Respond: Set up alerts, monitor pipelines, and resolve incidents to meet SLAs.
