What you'll do

• BIM Design Engineer
• The successful candidate will be part of an international Digital Engineering and Design team, supporting BIM-led design and immersive visualization (VR) for engineering projects at the Global Engineering Center in Vadodara, India, you’ll be part of a dynamic team that values innovation, diversity, and collaboration. The Transformers Business Unit is leading the way in energy transformation, delivering advanced solutions across a wide range of industries.

• The role focuses on integrating design data, ensuring coordination across disciplines, and supporting digital engineering transformation through BIM methodologies.
• How you’ll make an impact
• The successful candidate will be part of an international Digital Engineering and Design team, supporting BIM-led design and immersive visualization (VR) for engineering projects.
• Develop and maintain BIM models (LOD 200–LOD 350) for transformer / data center / infrastructure projects.
• Convert engineering outputs (CAD / Creo / design tools) into data-rich BIM models (geometry + metadata).
• Integrate BIM models with VR platforms (e.g., Unity / Unreal / immersive viewers) for visualization and validation.
• Support VR-based design reviews, enabling immersive walkthroughs for:
