About this internship

Capgemini Invent is hiring an experienced Data Scientist in Pune with strong hands-on expertise in Python, MILP optimization (Gurobi, Seeker) and modern cloud-based machine-learning solutions. You will architect and implement optimization solutions using MILP solvers, develop and deploy FastAPI-based microservices for ML and optimization workflows, and deploy ML pipelines on AWS and Databricks. This is a senior role blending technical leadership with individual contribution and significant client-facing responsibility — mentoring engineers, owning critical components, and acting as the technical point of contact for clients on MILP and ML solutions. Ideal for professionals with roughly 8–14 years in software development, optimization and ML solutions who enjoy solving complex, client-facing problems.
