AI Engineer Intern — AI Center of Excellence

About this internship

Black Box is expanding its AI Center of Excellence (CoE) and hiring an AI Engineer Intern to help design, develop and integrate AI-driven solutions using pre-trained Large Language Models (LLMs), traditional machine learning and deterministic approaches. Based at Manyata Tech Park, Bangalore, this 12-month, on-site internship offers hands-on exposure to Generative AI, enterprise integrations and end-to-end AI solution development. You will assist in building AI solutions using pre-trained LLMs for chat, summarisation and information retrieval, support RAG-based implementations connecting LLMs with enterprise data, and help develop and test ML models, AI agents and rule-based logic. You will learn AI orchestration with tools such as LangChain and n8n, support backend API development in Python, help integrate AI components with platforms like ServiceNow, SAP, Salesforce and Azure, and assist with data preparation, testing, deployment and documentation — all while being mentored by experienced AI engineers.

Skills you'll use

What you'll do

• Build AI solutions using pre-trained LLMs for chat, summarisation and retrieval
• Support RAG-based implementations connecting LLMs with enterprise data
• Develop and test ML models, AI agents and rule-based logic under guidance
• Learn AI orchestration using tools such as LangChain and n8n
• Support backend API development in Python and build simple UIs for AI apps
• Integrate AI components with ServiceNow, SAP, Salesforce and Azure services

Who can apply

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s in Engineering (CS, AI, Data Science, Electronics or related)
• Final-year student with ~12 months remaining before graduation
• Available for a full-time, on-site 12-month internship in Bangalore
• Basic to intermediate Python; understanding of ML and Generative AI concepts
• Exposure to backend frameworks (Flask/FastAPI), REST APIs and cloud (Azure)
