What you'll do

• Key job responsibilities
• Logistics Specialists are expected to understand all aspects of transportation, shipping and receiving as well as inventory control, adhere to strict safety standards, maintain very high quality, and be willing and able to work on material handling equipment (i.e Pallet Jack).
• - Completing manual tasks, such as assembling, addressing and arranging for the shipment of materials, handling incoming shipments, unpack boxes and verify contents
• - Load and unload large equipment utilizing pallet jacks
• - Maintain accountability of in-stock components as well as receive and process inbound shipments
• - Assist with ongoing requests to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained and distributed to all locations to support build and repair activities
• - Working with the Logistics Manager, create plans to optimize the flow and delivery of parts through their lifecycle; tracking inventory locations and movement.
• - Working closely with Datacenter Operations Technicians to fulfill parts and equipment deliveries quickly and accurately
• - Working with Procurement teams to ensure that inbound equipment orders are complete and delivered to appropriate Data Center Locations.
• - Regular and ongoing communications with vendors to resolve issues and help them understand our business requirements necessitates a high-level communicator.
