Skills you'll use

What you'll do

• Interact with the subject matter experts including developers, product managers, customer support and sales to understand software deliverables to provide release notes and other documents for general availability releases.
• Research, analyze data and test new and existing software to develop documentation content.
• Strong ability to grasp technical concepts and ensure accuracy of customer-facing documentation.
• Develop product information with simple and concise English by organizing ideas and translating complex technical terms into information readers can understand.
• Understand and ensure documentation attributes of task orientation, accuracy, completeness, clarity, concreteness, organization, retrievability, and visual effectiveness.
• Communicate issues and seek support in a timely manner to deliver documentation within software release deadlines.
• Work independently while also being detail-oriented, organized, a team-player, and approachable.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strive to continually improve the quality of our product documentation.

Who can apply

• To be considered for this role, you must have prior documentation experience authoring documentation for software products.
• BS/BA in Computer Science or other relevant fields.
• At least 5+ years of experience in software technical documentation.
• Ability to make complicated concepts easy to understand.
