What you'll do

• Vercel is building out its Finance Center of Excellence in India, and the Senior Accountant will be a foundational hire on that team. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Accounting you will be a key contributor to the day-to-day accounting operations of international entities globally owning core processes, keeping accounting records accurate and audit-ready, and helping build the infrastructure that scales with the business.
• This role is fully remote from your home office in India, with some overlapping hours with the broader global finance team.

Who can apply

• 6+ years of accounting experience, with at least 4 years in a hands-on role at a multinational company or a Big 4 / mid-tier CA firm.
• CA (Final) qualified; CPA or equivalent international qualification is a plus.
• Solid working knowledge of statutory compliance in different countries, indirect and direct tax returns.
• Familiarity with IFRS, US GAAP, IndAS, etc. local accounting standards and their application to a technology company context.
• Hands-on experience with an ERP system; NetSuite experience is strongly preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills; comfortable building and maintaining reconciliation templates, schedules, and close trackers.
• Detail-oriented and well-organized, with a track record of meeting close deadlines and maintaining clean, auditable workpapers.
• A collaborative team player who communicates clearly and proactively, especially in a remote, async-first environment.
• Curious, process-minded, and improvement-focused professional who proactively identifies inefficiencies and leverages AI, automation, and systems to improve accuracy and efficiency; a clear and confident communicator who collaborates effectively across remote, cross-functional, and cross-cultural teams while thriving in async-first environments with strong ownership, accountability, and self-direction.
