What you'll do

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based applications.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation of applications and systems.
  • Maintain and continuously improve code quality and optimize application performance, collaborating with the Quality Assurance team to support efficient and effective testing.
  • Contribute to architectural design discussions and influence system design decisions to ensure scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
  • Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle (design, development, testing, and deployment).
  • Mentor and guide team members and review code to ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to communicate status, issues, and risks in a timely manner.
  • Deliver outcomes that minimize operational impact and improve the stability of enterprise applications.
  • Ensure applications meet security and data protection standards.

Who can apply

  • Strong proficiency in developing Java (including enterprise frameworks).
  • Experience with the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security) and Hibernate-based applications.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture within an AWS cloud environment.
  • Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Amazon RDS.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab), Maven, and DevOps practices, including build and dependency management.
  • Experience with automation tools and AI assistants, with a strong conceptual understanding of generative AI development workflows.
