What you'll do

• - Feature Execution: Drive the technical design and end-to-end implementation of complex features, such as granular and bulk recovery workflows across Free and Advanced Resilience tiers — from backend APIs to the admin console UI.
• - Component Design: Design and build reliable core components for real-time recovery systems that capture deletion events, support scalable data restoration, and surface clear, actionable recovery status to end users.
• - UI/UX for Recovery Workflows: Build responsive, accessible front-end experiences (e.g., recovery dashboards, bulk restore flows, audit views) that make complex backend recovery operations easy for admins to understand and act on.
• - Relationship & State Management: Solve challenging engineering problems around relationship restoration (group memberships, app assignments, device enrollments) and state consistency, and reflect that state accurately in the UI.
• - Security & Compliance: Implement secure logging and tracking for all recovery operations (soft-delete, restore, permanent-delete) in Syslog to adhere to strict audit and compliance standards.
• - Product & Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Product Managers, Designers, and technical leads to clarify requirements, define technical scope, and break down complex projects into actionable milestones across the stack.
• - Operational Excellence: Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshoot production issues (backend and frontend), perform root cause analysis (RCAs), and enhance system observability, logging, and metrics.
• - Code Quality & Technical Standards: Champion engineering best practices through thorough code reviews, automated testing (unit, integration, and UI), and comprehensive technical documentation.
• - Team Growth: Provide guidance and peer mentorship to intermediate and junior engineers on the team to foster technical growth and code quality across the full stack.
• Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Who can apply

• - Experience: 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience building and scaling highly reliable, production-grade full stack applications.
• - Backend Expertise: Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming, with extensive experience in Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• - Frontend Expertise: Solid experience building modern, component-based web UIs (e.g., React, TypeScript) including state management, performance optimization, and accessibility best practices.
• - Distributed Systems: Solid experience with distributed system patterns, asynchronous job processing, and event-driven architectures (essential for bulk restore operations).
• - Data Management: Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and caching strategies (e.g., Redis) to manage state and high-throughput data snapshots.
• - API Design: Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining robust RESTful APIs, and consuming them to build seamless, responsive front-end experiences.
• - Problem Solving & Ownership: Proven track record of independently breaking down ambiguous requirements into clean, scalable software designs across the entire stack.
