Skills you'll use

What you'll do

• Own and maintain Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for the systems you support.
• Continuously measure and improve availability, and overall system health.
• Develop automation to scale systems sustainably and prevent or mitigate service issues.
• Partner with development teams to enhance reliability, observability, and release velocity.
• Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, post incident reviews, and root cause analysis.
• Promote strong engineering practices to help build, deploy, and operate high performance services.
• Act as a key enabler for Cloud migration, working with operations and engineering teams from project inception through to operational readiness.
• Conduct architectural reviews, support operational acceptance testing, and configure Datadog dashboards and metrics.
• You will need to have experience of DevOps or operating highly available distributed systems, strong scripting and automation skills (Bash,Python,etc). Understanding of Linux and cloud environments. Knowledge of working with financial trading systems an advantage.

Who can apply
