What you'll do

Glean is looking for Backend/Infrastructure engineers to build the platform that makes enterprise agents safe, discoverable, reliable, and governable at scale. You will work on agent publishing, sharing, moderation, policy enforcement, permissions, versioning, observability, and spend management. This is a distributed-systems and security-sensitive problem spanning platform infrastructure, product systems, and enterprise administration.
You will own problems from definition and architecture through production launch and operation, turning ambiguous requirements into durable platform primitives.

Who can apply

BA/BS in computer science, or related degree
6+ years building production backend, infrastructure, or cloud-native systems.
Strong coding skills in Go, Python, Java, C++, or a similar language.
Experience with distributed systems, APIs, storage, asynchronous workflows, or control planes.
Strong instincts around identity, authorization, tenancy, policy enforcement, auditability, and sensitive data access.
Able to reason about failure modes, system boundaries, invariants, and operational tradeoffs.
Customer-focused, proactive, and comfortable owning ambiguous problems and production issues.
Strong technical writing, communication, and collaboration skills.
Experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure is a plus.
Experience with AI agents, workflow systems, developer platforms, or enterprise administration is a plus.
