What you'll do

Architecture & Design
Design and develop Java-based microservices using Spring Boot/Spring Cloud following clean coding and microservices best practices.
Develop and maintain REST APIs and event-driven integrations using OpenAPI/Swagger and AsyncAPI standards.
Build and enhance event-driven solutions using Kafka/Pulsar and implement messaging patterns such as outbox and transactional messaging.
Apply performance optimization and resiliency techniques, including retries, circuit breakers, timeouts, and asynchronous processing.
Implementation & Quality
Develop high-quality code with strong unit, integration, and automated testing practices.
Implement observability using logging, monitoring, tracing, and health checks.
Follow secure coding standards and ensure compliance with security and data protection guidelines.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices.

Who can apply

5–8 years of software development experience, including 3+ years building Java microservices in production environments.
Strong experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Maven/Gradle, and RESTful APIs.
Good understanding of Kafka and event-driven architecture concepts.
Solid knowledge of microservices and distributed system fundamentals.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience in automated testing, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or OpenTelemetry.
Understanding of security concepts such as OAuth2, JWT, TLS, and secure coding practices.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Experience with Vert.x or gRPC is an advantage.
