Skills you'll use

What you'll do

• 10-15 years of experience with a consistent track record in development projects involving product development, as both an individual contributor and a team/tech lead.
• 2 years managing a team of 5+ engineers, including experience managing, motivating, developing/coaching, and appraising the team assigned to the project.
• Experience leading the development of complex, scale-out, distributed systems based on Service Oriented Architecture/Microservices (preferred).
• Understanding of modern programming languages such as Go/Python and concepts such as multi-threading, concurrency, data-intensive applications, and NoSQL databases.
• Demonstrated experience building and operating multi-tenant SaaS services — service APIs (REST/gRPC), asynchronous and event-driven workflows, and data stores at scale.
• Experience owning services in production: availability and latency objectives (SLI/SLO), on-call, incident response, and root cause analysis.
• Understanding of cloud technologies (AWS / Azure preferred; GCP also relevant) and of containerized deployment (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Demonstrated experience building products in the areas of Cloud/SaaS services, Storage, Virtualization, or Networking/Security.
