What you'll do

Design, develop, and maintain Apigee API proxies exposing MCP-based services
Configure and manage the AI gateway layer, enabling secure connectivity between applications and MCP servers
Implement and enforce API security policies, guiderails, including OAuth2, JWT, threat protection, and traffic management
Define and apply API governance standards for AI service exposure and lifecycle management
Collaborate with backend teams to ensure proper integration between Apigee gateway, CI/CD, cloud and On-Prem backend infrastructure
Act as a technical consultant to business units (BUs) by:
Understanding their AI use cases and integration needs
Translating requirements into API and MCP design patterns
Advising on best practices for secure and scalable AI consumption
Perform a light business analyst role, including:
