What you'll do

  • Observe senior teachers, then take short teaching slots and progress to full periods
  • Prepare lesson plans, worksheets and teaching aids for your assigned classes
  • Run doubt-clearing and revision sessions for students who need extra support
  • Help evaluate classwork, assignments and periodic assessments
  • Maintain simple records of attendance, submissions and student progress
  • Support classroom discipline and day-to-day classroom management
  • Assist with school activities, clubs and co-curricular events
  • Meet your mentor teacher regularly to review lessons and act on feedback

Who can apply

  • Pursuing or completed B.Ed, D.El.Ed, NTT, or any graduate/postgraduate degree in the subject you wish to teach
  • Final-year students and freshers are welcome — no prior full-time teaching experience required
  • Prior tutoring, coaching-class or teaching-assistant experience is a strong plus
  • Clear spoken and written English; working Hindi is useful for parent communication
  • Comfortable standing in front of a class and holding the attention of school-age students
  • Able to prepare lesson plans, worksheets and simple teaching aids independently
  • Patience, warmth and genuine interest in how children learn
  • Willing to accept feedback from a mentor teacher and act on it
  • Able to commute daily to the Nangloi campus — this is an in-office classroom role
  • Available to start immediately for the full 1-month duration
