About this internship

OpenLeaf is a logistics API integration platform that pre-integrates all major courier services to help e-commerce and D2C companies connect with their shipping partners in one place. We are hiring a Software Development Engineering (Web) Intern to work on backend development and help build the systems that power our automated last-mile logistics product. In this role you will focus on backend development in Golang, rapidly building and shipping REST APIs, and working with a PostgreSQL SQL database. You will contribute to a fully automated platform that gives businesses visibility and transparency over their logistics, with an AI-based recommendation engine that selects the best courier partner for each business’s needs.

Skills you'll use

What you'll do

• Work on backend development using Golang
• Rapidly build and ship REST APIs
• Work with a PostgreSQL SQL database
• Contribute to a fully automated logistics integration platform

Who can apply

• Good programming fundamentals with an interest in backend development
• Familiarity with Golang, JavaScript or Node.js
• Understanding of SQL databases, especially PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of REST API design and development
• A fast, ownership-driven mindset
