About this internship

National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) is hiring a Market Surveillance Data Intern for its Mumbai team — a hands-on Data Science & Analytics internship for 2026 freshers and final-year students (0 years of experience). You will work on market surveillance data, building data pipelines, dashboards and machine-learning models with Risk Modeling, Statistics, Python alongside experienced data scientists and analysts. This is a 6-month hybrid (Mumbai office + remote) programme. Skills you'll use

What you'll do

• Collect, clean and analyse large datasets for market surveillance data
• Build models, dashboards and reports using Risk Modeling, Statistics, Python, SQL
• Translate data insights into clear recommendations for stakeholders
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers and product teams on live projects

Who can apply

• Pursuing or recently completed B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc (CS, IT, Statistics, Maths, Data Science) or equivalent
• Working knowledge of Risk Modeling, Statistics, Python
• Solid grasp of statistics, data structures and problem solving
• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills
