What you'll do

  • Own and deliver a scoped engineering project end to end
  • Design, implement, test and deploy production-quality code
  • Write technical design documents in Amazon's written format
  • Build services that operate reliably at very high request volumes
  • Participate in code reviews, design reviews and team planning
  • Use AWS services to build scalable and resilient systems
  • Present project results to the team and engineering leadership

Who can apply

  • Pursuing BE/BTech/MTech/MS/MCA in CS, IT or a related branch
  • Graduating in 2027 or 2028 with a strong academic record
  • Excellent data structures, algorithms and complexity analysis
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, C++ or Go
  • Solid object-oriented design and software engineering fundamentals
  • Understanding of databases, operating systems and networking basics
  • Familiarity with Git and standard development workflows
  • Strong written communication — Amazon runs on written documents
  • Ability to own a project end to end with guidance
  • Available full-time at an Amazon India engineering office
