What you'll do

  • Collaborate with mentors to design, develop and maintain software
  • Add new features and fix bugs in Red Hat products and upstream projects
  • Write clean, tested and well-documented code
  • Participate in code reviews and open source collaboration
  • Track and help improve product performance and quality
  • Learn and apply container, Kubernetes and Linux fundamentals

Who can apply

  • Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in CS or related field
  • Proficiency in at least one language such as Python, Go, C or Java
  • Understanding of data structures, algorithms and Linux basics
  • Familiarity with version control such as Git
  • Interest in open source, cloud-native and Kubernetes technologies
  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
