  • Design and implement REST APIs and business logic
  • Model data and write efficient database queries
  • Add authentication, validation and error handling
  • Write unit tests and document endpoints
  • Collaborate with the team, document your work and act on feedback

Who can apply

  • Pursuing or recently completed a relevant degree/diploma (role-dependent, any stream where applicable)
  • Foundational knowledge of Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, SQL
  • Good communication skills and a genuine willingness to learn
  • Based in or open to working from Delhi, Delhi (or remote where applicable)
  • A portfolio, project or coursework you can show (a plus, not mandatory)

Interview & selection process

4 rounds — typical selection flow for this role:

  1. 1Application Screening — the Amdocs recruitment team reviews your resume, skills and (where relevant) projects/portfolio for fit with the Backend Developer Intern internship in Delhi.
