What you'll do

• We are looking for a passionate and talented individual with who has in-depth technical mastery and sharp learning agility in developing superior propositions for the Indian consumer. Innovation experience is required in terms of identifying consumer insights and leading the effort of product design qualification to deliver meaningful consumer value. The role will be focused on Asia and Africa regional product development and will stretch from end-to-end idea inception all the way to in-market monitoring.
• Located at Mumbai, India, you will report to a R&D manager and be part of a growing team of functional and technical experts in leading projects across the region. You will also have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams like sales, marketing, analytics, GPS, manufacturing, quality, procurement, etc.

• Education: M.Sc or M.Tech from top universities with 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience OR PhD in Science or Engineering from top universities with 1-2 years of relevant working experience.
• Consumer Research Expertise: In-depth knowledge of consumer tests, deriving insights, communication, demos, claims, and product innovation amongst others.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues and implement systemic fixes.
• Influencing Skills: Strong leadership and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
