What you'll do

• Be a part of the NEXTracker mechanical testing team in Hyderabad, India contributing to the sustaining of solar trackers and related components. As a part of this team, you will be closely collaborating with various cross functional teams on the assigned tasks including your counterparts in the USA to ensure timely and successful completion of product qualification.

Who can apply

• Diploma in mechanical engineering / ITI machinist or certification or equivalent.
• Must have hands-on experience in a fabrication role.
• Proficiency in using machining tools (CNC milling and lathe machines, Conventional machines like lathe, surface grinder, drilling, etc), welding equipment (MIG, ARC, Spot) and other fabrication techniques.
• Proficiency in generating tool path using CAM software (Delcam, Mastercam, etc) and creating machining programs using G-Codes/M-Codes
• Understanding of materials and their properties, enabling appropriate selection for test components.
• Strong emphasis on safety protocols and practices within a laboratory or fabrication environment
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, designers, and other team members.
• Effective communication skills to convey ideas and understand project requirements.
• Ability to manufacture fixtures for testing using the machine shop.
