What you'll do

Build responsive, accessible user interfaces and reusable frontend components
Design and implement REST/GraphQL APIs and server-side business logic
Model data and write efficient queries against SQL/NoSQL databases
Integrate frontend and backend and ship features end to end
Write clean, tested code, fix bugs and act on code-review feedback
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning and demos

Who can apply

Pursuing or recently completed BE/B.Tech/BCA/MCA/M.Tech or equivalent (strong coding fundamentals, any branch)
Foundational knowledge of MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js
Understanding of data structures, OOP and basic databases (SQL/NoSQL)
Familiarity with Git and a willingness to learn modern full-stack workflows
Good communication, problem-solving skills and a genuine willingness to learn
Based in or open to relocating to Patna, Bihar (or open to remote where applicable)

Interview & selection process

4 rounds — typical selection flow for this role:

1Online Application Screening — the recruitment team at Persistent Systems reviews your resume, projects and GitHub/portfolio for fit with a full-stack developer internship in Patna.
2Online Coding / Technical Assessment — a timed test covering programming fundamentals, data structures, problem solving and basic MongoDB/Express.js/React questions.
3Technical Interview — a live discussion of your projects and a hands-on coding/full-stack round (frontend + backend + database concepts) on the MERN stack with Redux state management.
4Second Technical / System Design Round — deeper full-stack problem solving, API design, database modelling and code walkthrough with a senior engineer.
5HR / Managerial Discussion — a conversation about your interests, availability, learning goals and the internship offer with Persistent Systems.
