Skills you'll use

What you'll do

• Write production-quality code in Java and the Spring framework under engineering mentorship
• Build and integrate REST APIs for Pearson's learning and assessment platforms
• Contribute to backend and full-stack features using Node.js and relational databases
• Write unit tests and help debug, monitor and improve existing services
• Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews and team collaboration

Who can apply

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, IT or Engineering
• Working knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming
• Familiarity with REST API concepts and relational databases
