What you'll do
- Develop and maintain 3D models of EI&C equipment, cable trays, conduits, and supports using E3D software.
- Generate detailed 2D drawings, including wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, panel layouts, and installation details, extracted from the E3D
- Perform clash detection and interference checks to ensure optimal equipment placement and cable routing.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (process, mechanical, civil) to integrate EI&C designs seamlessly into the overall plant model.
- Prepare Bills of Material (BOMs) and material take-offs for EI&C components.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and project specifications.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to optimize EI&C solutions.
- Support project execution by responding to technical queries and providing clarifications during construction and commissioning phases.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure proper version control.
Who can apply
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in EI&C design within an industrial environment, preferably in pulp and paper, energy, or similar heavy
- Proficiency in AVEVA E3D (formerly PDMS) software with a strong focus on Electrical, Instrumentation, and Cable Routing modules.
- Solid understanding of electrical power distribution, instrumentation principles, control systems, and fieldbus technologies.
