What you'll do

• The Product Development Engineer supports the design, formulation, and commercialization of advanced materials used in electronic components and their assemblies, such as adhesives, tapes, conductive materials, thermal materials, and assembly materials. The role focuses on developing innovative solutions that meet customer performance requirements and align with business growth objectives.

Who can apply

• Master’s degree or higher from any reputed Institution/ University with polymer science, chemistry, materials science, or a related field as the major subject.
• Experience with polymer systems, adhesives, coatings, films, or electronic materials is preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in R&D and product development. Preferably, in a related role developing materials for electronics assembly.
• Required experience handling various types of samples for performing tests such as tensile, mechanical shock, vibration, thermos-mechanical, electrical insulation, contact resistance tests, etc.
• Required experience in testing mechanical, chemical and electrical properties of materials. Proficiency in conducting product evaluations, performance testing, failure-mode analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in designing experiments, testing methods, and standard operating procedures.
• Comfortable in handling testing equipment, and analytical instruments.
• Good understanding about IP protocols and procedures.
• Should be a team player, able to plan and work independently with minimum supervision.
• Strong problem-solving, experimental design, and data-analysis skills.
