What you'll do

• Designing and implementing new Airflow features and components.
• Improving the performance and resiliency of Airflow
• Iterating and improving on Airflow’s developer experience
• Improve code quality, test coverage and reduce test runtime
• Encouraged to participate in the Airflow community(via Slack, mailing list and GitHub)
• Work closely with team members to deliver high-quality results.
• Liaise with customers, troubleshooting issues and providing solutions
• Contribute to the Airflow Ecosystem and steward the open-source community

Who can apply

• Promote new Airflow features at conferences and events
• Proven experience as a Python developer with 5+ years of experience
• Demonstrated ability to think creatively and explore new ideas
• Experience in troubleshooting complex issues
• Strong knowledge of building scalable and distributed systems
• A proactive approach to learning and staying updated with industry trends
• Good at writing unit tests, and an appreciation of different forms of automated testing
• Recognize the importance of cooperation and encourage it by being a good listener, sharing information, and offering support and feedback
