Angular Tutorial — Frequently Asked Questions
Is this Angular tutorial free?+
Yes — every lesson is free with no sign-up. The course runs from installing the CLI through components, services, RxJS, forms, routing, signals, testing and deployment.
Do I need to know TypeScript before learning Angular?+
Some. Angular is built on TypeScript and uses decorators, interfaces, generics and access modifiers throughout. The first lesson of this course covers the specific TypeScript features Angular actually relies on.
What is the difference between Angular and AngularJS?+
AngularJS is the original 1.x framework built on $scope and controllers. Angular from version 2 onward is a complete TypeScript rewrite with components, dependency injection and a new rendering engine. They are separate frameworks that share a name.
Should I learn Angular or React in India?+
React has more startup and product-company openings; Angular dominates enterprise hiring at banks, insurers, telecoms and global capability centres. Both are in demand — pick based on the companies you want to work for.
How long does it take to learn Angular?+
About three months of daily practice to reach job-ready level, since you learn TypeScript, the framework and RxJS together. The roadmap lesson sets out a week-by-week plan.
Should I learn NgModules or standalone components?+
Learn standalone components first — they are the default for new projects and all current documentation. Then learn enough NgModule syntax to maintain existing applications, which is most of the Angular running in production today.
