What you'll do

• We are seeking a Senior Lifecycle Marketing Operations Specialist, Audiences, to lead lifecycle journey audience strategy across Zillow’s owned channels. This role serves as a subject matter expert in segmentation, personalization, and journey orchestration, helping define scalable lifecycle frameworks that drive engagement and conversion.
• You will own high-impact lifecycle initiatives, translate strategic priorities into data-driven audience architecture, and influence how customer data is leveraged across the marketing ecosystem.
• Design and evolve lifecycle and audience activation frameworks that improve speed, flexibility, and scalability.
• Partner with Data Science and Engineering to improve audience data models and activation capabilities.
• Serve as the activation subject matter expert in cross-functional conversations with Engineering, Product, and Platform teams to evolve audience infrastructure and improve activation scalability.
• Analyze performance trends and proactively recommend lifecycle optimizations.
• Design and execute experiments to measure lift and validate segmentation and targeting strategies.
• Establish governance standards for audience health, suppression logic, and segmentation accuracy.
• Mentor junior team members on lifecycle best practices and audiences.
• This role has been categorized as an Office position. “Office” employees regularly work at the Zillow India office for approximately 80 to 100 percent of their time each month. Employees must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the office. Zillow has not defined a reasonable distance, and expects employees will use judgment in determining this for themselves and understand the implications re: time commitment and cost of daily commute.

Who can apply

• Experienced lifecycle marketing operations strategist with deep hands-on expertise in CDP and marketing automation platforms.
• Strong understanding of data flows, audience modeling, and personalization frameworks.
• Strategic thinker who can translate business goals into scalable lifecycle architecture.
• Analytical and comfortable driving optimization through data.
• Influential cross-functional partner.
• 5+ years in lifecycle marketing, CRM, marketing operations, or audience strategy.
• Hands-on experience with at least one enterprise marketing automation platform (Braze, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Iterable, etc.).
• Experience working with a CDP or customer data platform (Hightouch, Segment, mParticle, Tealium, Adobe RTCDP, Amperity, etc.).
• Built and managed customer audiences—not just executed campaigns.
• Comfortable partnering with Engineering, Product, Data Science, or Analytics teams.
