Skills you'll use

What you'll do

• Prepare and analyse monthly Budget versus Actual Capex data, including variance analysis.
• Manage month-end close activities, including depreciation analysis, accruals, provisions, and related approvals.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations monthly to a high standard.
• Collaborate with local market FinOps teams and business stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure accurate Capex spend analysis.
• Use financial systems such as SAP to analyse asset-related risks and ensure appropriate provisions in the fixed asset register.
• Maintain SOX controls, including annual sign-offs, and ensure compliance with group accounting policies.
• Liaise with commercial accountants and market teams to communicate in-period and year-to-date financial performance.
• Support monthly reporting, forecasting inputs, audit activities, and interim or year-end certification requirements.
• Process asset creation, changes, and capitalisation based on business inputs.
• Deliver reporting within agreed service level agreements and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.

Who can apply

• A qualified or part-qualified accounting professional.Experienced in financial accounting, with strong analytical and problem-solving capability.Comfortable working with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Knowledgeable in IFRS or GAAP accounting principles.Confident in written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.Experienced in using MS Office tools; SAP knowledge is an advantage.Able to exercise independent judgement and interpret complex financial data.Exposure to HFM reporting, Power BI, or automotive accounting is beneficial but not essential.
