What you'll do

• Position Title: Oracle DBA - L3
• Department: India IT – Database Administration
• Position Overview
• We are seeking a seasoned Oracle Database Administrator (L3) with 5–7 years of hands-on experience specializing in Oracle Database environments running natively on Windows Server platforms (2016 through 2025).
• The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in managing Oracle Standard Edition 2 (SE2) environments (12c/19c), navigating Windows OS-specific architecture (threads, services, and memory allocation), and maintaining high availability without relying on Enterprise-only features. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining daily operational stability, executing infrastructure migrations, and creating structured SOPs to delegate routine monitoring tasks to NOC teams.

Who can apply

• Required Technical Skills
• Operating Systems: Strong, proven expertise administering Oracle databases on Windows Server (2016 / 2019 / 2022 / 2025).
• Oracle Database Versions: Hands-on experience with Oracle 19c architecture (CDB/PDB).
• Editions: Demonstrated understanding of Standard Edition 2 (SE2) license rules, CPU limits, and feature constraints.
• Tools & Utilities: RMAN, Data Pump (EXPDP/IMPDP), orakill, SQL Developer and Windows Services.msc.
• Monitoring & Tuning: Experience performing wait-event tuning using Statspack, V$ views, or external monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds/DPA).
• Backup Integrations: Experience managing RMAN backups integrated with application-aware backup agents (e.g., Veeam, Cohesity).
• Soft Skills & Documentation Focus
• Strong SOP and technical documentation culture—ability to turn complex tasks into standard runbooks for operational handoff.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and incident management skills.
