What you'll do

  • Position Overview:
  • We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented senior Analog / Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer to join our growing, dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will closely work with other senior engineers to define, design, develop, and verify innovative analog circuits and systems. To be successful in this position, a deep technical foundation is required. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional engineer to grow their skills and contribute to impactful projects.
  • Join us, and you’ll help us design a variety of cost-effective mixed-signal devices for computing, security-sensitive, and automotive markets.
  • Design and development a wide variety of full custom analog circuits, including amplifiers, simple ADCs, References, IOs, Oscillators and power management systems.
  • Perform detailed circuit simulations and analysis using industry-standard tools (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, Cadence Spectre).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design specifications and deadlines are met.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate, guide, and review layout implementations to ensure performance, matching, and reliability requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with digital design, verification, and test engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration
  • Support the testing and validation of prototypes, including troubleshooting and debugging.

Who can apply

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s in any one of the following disciplines - Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, field is preferred.
  • Master’s in any one of the following disciplines - Applied Electronics, VLSI Design, Communication
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in analog IC design.
  • Fundamental understanding of semiconductor device physics.
  • Strong understanding of analog circuit design principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using industry-standard EDA tools for analog and mixed circuit design, simulation, and layout (e.g. Cadence Virtuoso)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to learn and operate some Microchip specific internal software tools.
