Skills you'll use

What you'll do

• Design and develop powertrain systems, including ICE, Manual Transmission, E-Powertrain, Battery Pack, and Motor assemblies.
• Create, modify, and release 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using CATIA or UG NX.
• Perform detailed design and optimization of gears, shafts, bearings, and transmission sub-systems.
• Conduct gear sizing, ratio selection, strength calculations, and micro-geometry optimization to meet performance targets.
• Support CAE, CFD, Romax, and KISSsoft analyses for design validation, durability, thermal, and NVH performance.
• Prepare and maintain BOMs, specifications, engineering standards, design guidelines, and release documentation.
• Apply DFMEA, DFC, DFM, and DFS methodologies to ensure robust, manufacturable, and cost-effective designs.
• Perform GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, CMM report review, and engineering detailing activities to ensure drawing quality.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturing plants to resolve development, integration, and production issues.
• Support vehicle and subsystem integration, manufacturing readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives to achieve quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
