What you'll do
- Float RFQs, compare quotations and recommend the source
- Negotiate price, payment and delivery terms with suppliers
- Raise and track purchase orders through to receipt
- Monitor supplier delivery performance and escalate slippage
- Support cost reduction and localisation projects
- Maintain accurate technical records and traceability for your work
- Follow plant safety, quality and environmental standards at all times
- Escalate issues early and close them with verified corrective action
Who can apply
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in any engineering discipline, or BBA/MBA in Operations or Supply Chain from a recognised university
- 0–2 years of experience in an engineering, plant or quality function — freshers and 2026 graduates are welcome
- Working knowledge of Procurement, Supplier Negotiation, Cost Analysis
- Comfort with SAP MM, cost sheets and supplier portals, and with reading and working to a drawing or specification
- Ability to read an engineering drawing, follow a standard, and explain a technical result clearly to production or the customer
- Attention to detail, ownership and the discipline to document your work
- Based in Mumbai, Maharashtra or willing to relocate
