What you'll do

• Oversee all facilities operations including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety systems, and building automation to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• Manage vendor relationships and service contracts, evaluating performance and negotiating terms to deliver cost-effective solutions
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs that minimize downtime and extend asset lifecycles
• Lead and mentor a team of facilities professionals, fostering a culture where everyone is empowered to thrive through coaching, development, and performance management
• Lead safety initiatives and conduct regular safety inspections, ensuring adherence to OSHA regulations and implementing corrective actions to maintain a safe workplace
• Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications for maintenance projects, renovations, and system upgrades
• Prepare and manage annual operating budgets, capital expenditure plans, and financial reporting while identifying cost-saving opportunities
• Conduct regular facility inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and client standards
• Coordinate space planning, moves, and renovation projects in partnership with project management teams
• Respond to emergency situations and implement business continuity plans to protect people and assets

Who can apply

• Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications for maintenance projects, renovations, and system upgrades
• Minimum 5 years of progressive facilities management experience in commercial real estate or corporate environments
• Demonstrated experience managing building operations, maintenance programs, and vendor relationships
• Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and building automation systems
• Proven ability to develop and manage budgets, analyze financial data, and implement cost control measures
• Experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels
• Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite
