What you'll do

  • The Technology Data Office (TDO) is responsible for improving the quality, consistency, and trustworthiness of technology data across DTCC by providing data governance oversight in a systematic and federated manner.
  • As a Senior Associate within the Technology Data Office, you will play a critical role in operationalizing DTCC’s Data Governance Policy, Standards, and Procedures across assigned business and functional domains. This role focuses on executing and supporting day‑to‑day data governance and data stewardship activities that strengthen governance, accountability, compliance, and data quality—ensuring enterprise standards are applied consistently.
  • This position operates in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities and works closely with agile, cross‑functional delivery teams, data stewards, data owners, project managers, and technology partners to reduce data risk and improve Data Office adoption across the enterprise.

Who can apply

  • 6+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, data stewardship, metadata management, or data management within an enterprise environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience supporting data governance and stewardship activities within a business or functional domain.
  • Talent Needed for Success
  • Strong understanding of data governance concepts, including:
  • Data Elements (DEs) and Critical Data Elements (CDEs)
  • Metadata and data lineage
  • Data quality rules, metrics, and exception management
  • Ability to analyze datasets to identify data issues, inconsistencies, and risks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain data concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
