Skills you'll use

What you'll do

• Support end‑to‑end design, detailing, and validation of mechanical transmission components.
• Perform calculations related to:
• Gear ratios & gear train layout
• Gear macro & micro geometry
• Shaft and bearing sizing
• Clutch torque capacity and wear analysis
• Chain tension, sprocket geometry, and drive efficiency
• Develop and optimize clutch systems, including friction plate design, actuation mechanism, pressure plate geometry, and durability evaluation.
• Design and refine gear shifting mechanisms (shift forks, selector drum, shift shaft, detent mechanism).
• Design and validate drive chain and sprocket systems, including link selection, pitch, sprocket tooth profile, alignment, wear patterns, and noise/efficiency considerations.

Who can apply

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering.
• Minimum 60 % marks
• Should have been consistent & secured good percentage throughout academics (SSC, HSC (if appeared) etc)
