What you'll do

• Avantor is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking accounting professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently while collaborating effectively with global stakeholders to resolve accounting issues, prepare/review accounting entries, analyze financial information, and support lease accounting and external reporting processes. This individual will contribute to the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal controls.
• This is a full-time position based in our Pune, India office.

Who can apply

• Education & Experience
• CA Intermediate with 3-6 years of relevant experience in Lease Accounting, Record-to-Report (R2R), General Accounting, Financial Reporting, or External Reporting; or
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in lease accounting and working knowledge of ASC 842 is preferred.
• Experience supporting financial reporting, consolidations, or external reporting activities is an advantage.
