Skills you'll use

What you'll do

• Key job responsibilities
• Driving improvement of design standards and project approaches across the organization
• Produce concept designs and detailed designs based on local code requirements, and any other requirements of the Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs)
• Be responsible for providing high quality fire protection engineering advice on a wide variety of projects globally whilst working with global fire protection engineering teams to achieve alignment of designs and design objectives
• Coordinating with construction and commissioning teams to answer requests for information and value engineering queries
• Be responsible for construction documents, code compliance, design and installation standards, water supply evaluation and assessment, testing, inspections, and submittal review
• This position will involve 20% travel within APAC region and occasionally globally

Who can apply

• - 6+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities experience
• - Knowledge of Indian as well as state building codes and regulations including Fire Codes, Building Codes, Energy Efficiency Codes, Sanitary Codes and Safety Codes
• - Experience with fire and building codes and standards, including the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), National Electrical Code (NEC), FM Global standards, International Fire Code (IFC) and the Comprehensive International Building Code (IBC)
• - Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or equivalent
