Skills you'll use

What you'll do

• - Write queries, compile data, and generate reports utilizing technologies such as RedShift, RDS (MySQL, MSSQL), Spectrum, and ETL.
• - Tell a story based off the data, propose insights, and see actions through to the finish on those insights
• - Interacting with business stakeholders, gathering requirements and developing complex analytics model and data-sets for deep dive
• - Identifying the data quality issues across the various platforms at Amazon
• - Extracting and combining data from various heterogeneous data sources
• - Design and build data visualization tools to provide scalable solution for self-service metrics reporting
• - Understand the business impact of the trends and make decisions that make sense based on available data
• - Knowledge to systematically escalate problems or variance in the information and data to the relevant owners and teams
• - Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring and identifying activities performed
• - Written and verbal communication experience, as you will be required to create a narrative outlining your weekly findings, and present these finding in a review forum

Who can apply

• - Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• - 2+ years of work experience in logistics/transportation industry
• - Experience working on identity verification/ fraud detection processes
• - Knowledge of MS Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
• - Experience creating complex SQL queries joining multiple datasets, ETL DW concepts
• - Familiarity with Excel spreadsheets and ability to navigate and interpret data through SQL
