Skills you'll use

What you'll do

• - Understand the design concepts and intents by reviewing FLS documentation, including drawings, specifications, vendor submittals and cause effect (C&E matrix), actualize design concepts in construction phase and validate C&E through commissioning.
• - Provide recommendations to design, pre-functional checklists, startup and functional test scripts developed by others, commission-ability, construct-ability and maintainability.
• - Review documentation for compliance with Amazon standards, industry standards, local code requirements and design specifications
• - Assess the capability of commissioned systems to match the design intent
• - Deliver both FLS and MEP projects across all APJC Substations and Data Centers

Who can apply

• - 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities experience
• - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• - Experience with fire and building codes and standards, including the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), National Electrical Code (NEC), FM Global standards, International Fire Code (IFC) and the Comprehensive International Building Code (IBC)
