What you'll do
- Vendor Management
- Own the full vendor lifecycle: identify, vet, and onboard reliable partners
- Lead rigorous contract negotiations to secure favorable terms
- Establish and monitor vendor performance KPIs
- Proactively resolve quality or delivery disputes to maintain supply continuity
- Procurement Strategy
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies based on deep cost analysis and spend management
- Continuously assess the market to identify potential supply risks
- Implement mitigation plans to ensure long-term resilience for our unique components
- Inventory Planning
Who can apply
- 5–8 years of professional experience with a proven mix of strategic sourcing and day-to-day operational buying, ideally from a fast-paced startup, a hardware-centric company, or a complex manufacturing environment
- Deep sourcing knowledge in at least two of the following:
- Mechanical parts such as fasteners, moulds, gears, actuators
- Avionics/electronics
- Composites such as fabric, consumables, resins etc.
- Sharp negotiation skills and the ability to interpret complex data to make informed procurement decisions
- A rigorous problem-solving mindset with extreme attention to detail
- Comfortable thriving in high-pressure, dynamic environments and executing tasks independently while navigating the complexities of a scaling supply chain
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, or heavy industrial logistics
- Work location: Hoskote, Bangalore (Headquarters)
