What you'll do

• Design, build and operate services within a Stripe product or infrastructure team
• Write well-tested production code that handles money movement correctly
• Design and evolve public and internal APIs with backwards compatibility in mind
• Build reliability into services — idempotency, retries, reconciliation, monitoring
• Participate in code review, technical design review and written proposals
• Join the team on-call rotation with structured support and escalation
• Collaborate with product, design and documentation on user-facing surfaces

Who can apply

• BE/BTech/MTech/MS in Computer Science, IT or a related discipline
• 0-2 years of experience; 2025-2027 graduating batches welcome
• Excellent data structures, algorithms and problem-solving ability
• Proficiency in at least one modern backend language (Ruby, Java, Go, Scala, TypeScript)
• Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Understanding of HTTP, REST API design and idempotency
• Familiarity with version control, testing frameworks and CI workflows
• Strong written communication — Stripe runs on written proposals
• Interest in payments, fintech or regulated financial systems
• Available to work hybrid from the Bengaluru office
