• Position Summary
• We are seeking a highly motivated and client-focused professional to join the S&P Cappitech Support and Operations team. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent analytical skills and the ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues from identification through to delivery of a solution.
• The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, address regulatory reporting inquiries, and resolve complex reporting issues in a timely manner. Experience with regulatory regimes such as EMIR, MiFID II, ASIC, MAS, CFTC, SEC, and SFTR is highly desirable.
• In addition, the candidate should have experience working in an Agile environment, with a solid understanding of project management processes, stakeholder communication, issue tracking, and driving actions to completion. They must be able to manage multiple priorities, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and take ownership of delivering successful outcomes for clients.
• Duties and Accountabilities
• Dealing with customer enquiries and requests and managing them efficiently and in a timely manner until resolution

Who can apply

• Professional foundation in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in Agile environment, preferably as a Business Analyst or Product ownership role.
• Preferably, completion or working towards FRM or CFA.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and understanding of an API at an intermediate level.
• Demonstrated experience in financial markets or fintech.
• Understanding of the trade lifecycle across major financial asset classes including securities finance, exchange-traded, and OTC derivatives.
• Familiarity with financial markets and Regulatory Reporting Regimes (SFTR/MiFID/EMIR/ASIC/MAS/CFTC).
• Ability to comprehend technical concepts.
• Competence in querying and extracting data from databases.
• Knowledge of other vendor systems like ANNA, Reuters etc. is advantageous.
